Marlin Kaplan, one of Northeast Ohio's most artful restauranteurs opens his newset restraunt in the revitalized Detroit Shoreway area. Luxe creates a cool marriage of vintage and modern. The glass-fronted open kitchen (those brass doorways were salvaged from a Tower City Remodel) looks into an exposed brick archway, which pairs neatly with a shiny, stamped melal ceiling.

When you sit at our bar. You are sitting on a piece of history. This bar is a 1930s Art Deco bar which was purchased from a spot in Collinwood, that faced demolition.

Enjoy an appetizer, a meal in our 60 seat main dining room. The napkins and table runners in the dining room are sewn from grain sacks. Kaplan found in Europe, some of the flatware bearers, the Masonic symbol.
